Since
2005 the Wesley Heritage Foundation has entered into Phase 3 of its ministry.
This phase has been defined as the initiating, designing, guiding and
supporting of projects to advance the availability of theological and
spiritual resources in the Wesleyan tradition in languages other than
English, and not exclusively Spanish.
Foundation President, Dr. Mark Wethington, was
guest in early 2006 of the General Assemblies (annual conferences) of
the Iglesia Metodista de Nicaragua, January 28 & 29; and the Iglesia
Nacional Metodista Primitiva de Guatemala (the National Evangelical Primitive
Methodist Church of Guatemala), February 7-8 . The Nicaragua Methodist
Church is a young church and the Primitive Methodist Church of Guatemala
has about a seventy year history. At both conferences much gratitude was
expressed to the Foundation for the ministry of the translation of Wesley’s
Works into Spanish. Speakers and preachers often referred to Obras de
Wesley.

3. A written history of the INMP of Guatemala
4. DVD/Video in Spanish on “Practicing the Means
of Grace” in cooperation with UM Communications
5. The translation of 27 Wesley sermons into Cuzco Quechua
6. The translation of 27 Wesley sermons into K’iche
for Guatemalan Mayan Methodists and Pentecostals of Guatemalan highlands
